We love the Channel Islands and we have been very lucky to stay with friends on Sark this year. After getting off the ferry one of the first things you see are Les Burons, a treacherous rock formation just outside the harbour that at hightide becomes a group of four rocks jutting out of the water. On the day we arrived, the sea was so tranquil you could almost believe the rocks were harmless. The smallest rock on the far right of Les Burons is called le Chat (the cat) for obvious reasons!
