A Minor Frontier
£45.00
‘A Minor Frontier’ exists as a small work that I might take to a bigger painting later.
It marks a departure for me into a more abstract landscape style. Whilst the execution may seem simpler than my more traditional watercolours, the thought behind the abstraction takes WAY longer!
You might recognise the location as the Sycamore Gap in the central section of Hadrian’s Wall. I wanted to reflect the cold and all pervasive dampness that I experienced on the day I visited. Atmospheric to say the least!
The Original is now sold. However, prints are still available.
The prints are cropped as shown in the image, and printed on fine art paper using the Giclee printing method. The prints are signed.
