A Winter Stream, RHS Harlow Carr

The Royal Horticultural Society’s Gardens at Harlow Carr, in Yorkshire are one of my favourite places to visit.
For a new project in 2023 I have decided to develop a series of paintings that explore the way I engage with the landscape there. What inspires me the most? What do I respond to in its design – colour, shape, atmosphere? The result will be a portfolio of paintings that range in style from the realistic to the abstract, like this artwork, where it is the colours along a winter stream that I focused on.
The artwork is available as both a signed, giclee print, limited to 100, or as a slightly smaller, signed print.
