A textural, watercolour abstract, inspired by a summer visit to Siena, in Tuscany. The painting is based on a flaking section of wall glowing in the afternoon sun. The colours are typical of the reds, oranges, browns, and yellows found in the stucco walls of theTuscan area. They evoke the deep warmth of the summer day.
