The astonishingly clear water of Selwick Bay at Flamborough Head is created by the chalk seabed that lies beneath the waves. In places, white fingers of this sedimentary rock seemingly crawl out of the sea and onto the beach, stitching together the two environments.

The stark whiteness of the chalk beneath the water reflects an astounding array of colours. The moment I saw this bay I knew I had to paint it. The focus on the colours of the Bay has allowed me to be more expressive, looser, and abstract with my paint marks.

The Limited Edition, fine art print is 57.5cm x 40cm, and the standard fine art prints measure 37cm x 28.5cm.
