This highly accurate and detailed painting showing Elland Road from a row of terraces above the ground in Beeston. Echoing an older photograph overlooking the ground, it includes a washing line of shirts. The shirts in this painting depict key style changes and notable moments from the club’s past 100 years.
This finely detailed artwork was originally painted for Leeds United’s centenary year and to celebrate the club winning the EFL Championship and promotion back to the Premier Division after a 16 year absence. It is painted on 140lb Bockingford watercolour paper and measures 74cm x 54cm
The print is offered in two sizes. There are only 100 of the exclusive larger prints making this image of Leeds United’s history a must for fans, collectors, and sport art investors alike. The smaller print is limited to 400 copies. Each is accompanied by a certficate of authenticity, and an A5 explanation graphic explaining the historical relevance of each shirt. The large print measures 70.5cm x 44cm. The smaller print measures 48cm x 30.5cm
