A Grey Heron waits patiently to catch its breakfast on a rusty mooring post just after dawn in the still waters of St Monans harbour. St Monans is one a handful of pretty, historical fishing villages strung out along the south eastern coast of Fife. Each ooze atmosphere and a sense of history with their tiny fishermens’ cottages and rustic harbours.

This seascape is painted on Bockingford 140lb watercolour paper and measures 73cm x 45cm. It comes framed in a simple, square profile, white painted wooden frame measuring 81cm x 54cm.
