The winter sun shines yellow light across the wet sand of a beach and silhouettes a line of trees in a Fife winter landscape

Kingsbarns beach, a little south of St. Andrews in the East Neuk of Fife is a family beach for us and to my mind one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Between Christmas and New Year I travel north to visit family and in 2018 managed to capture the glow of the rising winter dawn behind a line of trees that tumble down to the sea from the Cambo Estate.
